The key instrument to achieve this goal is the Integrated Management System implemented in production plant in Koło. It includes all processes connected with the quality of the product, work safety and hygiene and natural environment protection which are certificated according to the norms PN-ISO 9001, PN-ISO 14001 and PN-N-18001.

Abrasives' safety

Saint-Gobain Abrasives is an active member of OSA and FEPA - the most renowned world organizations that associate the producers of abrasives tools.

In 2000 the boards of Saint-Gobain Abrasives and other abrasives' producers founded Organization for the Safety of Abrasives (OSA). The members declared to manufacture and distribute exclusively the high quality products that guarantee user's safety and accidents prevention. The associated producers declared to observe even more strict regulations than those set by international rules. Hence, they set the worldwide standards of abrasives' production. For the users all abrasives featuring the OSA sign are synonymous with work safety and the highest quality of tools they use.

Saint-Gobain Abrasives is an active participant of work of the Federation of European Producers of Abrasive Products (FEPA). The aim of actions undertaken by members of this organisation is promotion of the safe use of abrasive tools. The Federation takes an active part in the processes of creation and implementation of European Norms (EN) and International Norms (ISO) concerning abrasive materials and grinders.
